Our Goal Is To Help Those In Need
At VB Surf, part of our goal is to do our part to make the planet a better place. Not only do we sell recycled and eco friendly products, but we have also partnered with five organizations to help those in need: one each for men, women, children, animals, and the planet. By supporting VB Surf you are also helping to make our world a better place.
The Wounded Warrior Project serves veterans and service members, and their families, who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, during their military service on or after September 11, 2001. Through mind and body wellness programs, economic empowerment and education services and peer support, they foster a well-adjusted generation of service members.
Run for Her, one of the largest ovarian cancer fundraisers in the world, helps to sustain the work of the Women’s Cancer Program. This work includes clinical care, laboratory-based research, genetic testing and counseling and maintaining a biorepository — one of the country’s largest and most comprehensive “tissue banks” focused on women’s cancers. Now in its tenth year, Run for Her will host run/walks in Los Angeles, New York, and Bay Area. To date, Run for Her has raised over $7 million for the Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Program.
Shriners Hospitals for Children provides the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs, and conducts research to discover new knowledge in order to improve the quality of life of each child and their families. Within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment, Shriners carries out their mission without regard to race, national origin or ability of a patient or family to pay.
Heal the Bay is an environmental organization focused on protecting Santa Monica Bay. Supporting public health and community action programs, they partner with thousands of its neighbors in southern California such as Nothin’ But Sand and Coastal Cleanup Day. They also work to move municipal, state and Federal government agencies to act in the collective interests to protect our rivers, beaches and ocean. They rely upon the help of local businesses, community leaders and their dedicated volunteers to meet environmental challenges.
Big Life Foundation is the first organization in East Africa that has coordinated anti-poaching teams operating on both sides of the Kenya-Tanzania border. Recognizing that sustainable conservation can only be achieved through a community-based collaborative approach, they partner with local communities, NGOs, national parks and government agencies to protect and sustain East Africa’s wild lands and wildlife, including one of the greatest populations of elephants left in East Africa.

"We rented these really cool military bikes and wherever we went, people kept taking pictures of us. Plus, we learned that part of the rental fee went directly to a non-profit. We were stoked! "
"I went to VB Surf needing a new bathing suit and left with an awesome bikini and a big floppy hat. They’ve got stuff in there I didn’t expect. I am so going back!"
